What the four presets mean, and how the timer protects your battery.
The app keeps the controls simple: one dial, four preset chips, and a single timer. Here's what each one does in practice.
The dial
Drag from 30 °C (just-warm) to 70 °C (very hot). The app sends the same target to both socks and holds it there using a temperature sensor in each sock — that's what "constant temperature heating" means. Without a sensor, a heated sock just dumps power until it either overheats or runs the battery flat. With the sensor, it tops up only when the temperature dips below your target.
The four presets

| 45 °C | Cold offices, mornings under 10 °C, indoor work on concrete floors. |
| 55 °C | Hiking, skiing in moderate cold, ice-fishing with breaks. |
| 65 °C | Severe cold, stationary outdoor activities, you want the heat right now. |
Tapping a preset just snaps the dial to that temperature — you can still drag the dial after.
The timer
The dial values: Off · 30 · 45 · 60 · 90 · 120 minutes.
When the timer runs out, the heating element stops and the radio stays connected — the app shows the socks as paired but no longer heating. This is the main thing that protects your battery if you walk away without remembering to switch off.
Most people set 60 or 90 minutes by default. The timer only counts when the heater is on, so pausing or lowering the temperature shouldn't surprise you.
